A delightful gîte in a delightful setting. La Salamandre is just wonderful for two. The gîte has everything - and I do mean everything - that we could want to make ourselves comfortable. The evenings spent sitting on the deck as the day slowly faded were a treat in themselves. So much to see in the area meant that we did not exhaust the list of places we would have liked to visit.

We have greatly enjoyed our holiday - thanks to you, Ted & Janet, for making it happen. We all appreciate the French culture: the language, the food and the way of life. Our three favourite things were eating seafood at Cancale; sunbathing, swimming and watching dolphins at Saussaye Plage; Breton dancing at la fête des lanternes at Combourg.

This is my third time here, although the first time in the "little gîte". We love it here - it's so peaceful and quiet - just what we were after. The little gîte may be petite but it has everything we could ask for and it's been most comfortable. All in all, a wonderful holiday. We will be back!

BRILLIANT house and location. Ideal for visiting surrounding areas. House and contents covered every eventuality. Very thoughtful and helpful owners.
